The products are widely used in water source projects, urban water supply and drainage, sewage treatment, electric power, petroleum, petrochemical , heat supply, shipbuilding, medicine and metallurgy industries.
Distributor of butterfly valves seats. specifications include valve sizes ranging from 1/2 in. to 4 in., characterized seat ranging from 15 in. V to 120 in. V & 1/64 in. slot to 1/6 in. slot. Valve seat material includes carbon & 316 stainless steel.
Equipment are used for regulating or cutting off media in pipelines. Suitable media include water, sewage, sea water, air, foodstuff and oil. Suitable for handles (DN50~300), gear operators, electric and pneumatic control actuators.
Material Configuration
The standard C&C RBV-01 series butterfly valve is constructed of a Ductile Iron Body, Ductile Iron Disc and 416 Stainless Steel Shaft, providing the most cost effective solution for regular application. Optional materials are also available to meet your specific application needs.
Operating Pressures
All C&C RBV-01 series Butterfly Valves are rated at 250 psi bubble tight shut-off for sizes 2 (DN50) to12(DN300) and 150 psi bubble tight shut-off for sizes 14(DN350) and larger.
Flange and Pipe Schedule Compatibility
The standard C&C RBV-01 series butterfly valve are designed and manufactured for use with ANSI 125 or 150 Class flanges and to comply with API 609. Alternatively, RBV-01 series can also be custom made according to different international or corporate standards to fit in various piping systems.
General Design Features
- The one-piece shaft design delivers positive disc-to-seat location while offering maximum strength. Disc is attached to shaft by precision taper pins minimizing flow turbulence, resulting in higher CV ratings.
- The unique C&C seat and disc design insures positive valve sealing while maintaining low seating torque.
- Disc edge is spherically machined and hand polished to assure leak-proof positive shut-off and longer seat life while minimizing torque.
- The bi-directional shaft seal prevents external contamination of stem area while providing back-up for the primary shaft seal formed by the disc/seat interface.
- C&C unique bushing design completely isolates the valve shaft from the body, resulting in increased control of the valve disc, maximum shaft support, lower valve seating torque, and longer valve life.
- Valve seat is available in Phenolic Backed Cartridge design and Tongue & Groove Design.
- Phenolic Backed Seat provides additional support, eliminating elastomer movement and reducing seat tearing or fatiguing due to bunching. 360° sealing protects components from media and provides primary shaft seal.
- Tongue & Groove Seat features lower torque and provides complete isolation of flowing media from the body. Featured with molded O-ring, Tongue & Groove design eliminates the use of flange gaskets. It also makes field replacement simple and fast.
